Aurora Potluck - $175
10:00pm -- 3:00am
Transportation is included in this tour. No worries about driving on wintery roads while sleepy from your late night adventures. Pick up from your lodging in Fairbanks starts at 10pm. Departure from our cabin is 2am so you will be back to your beds by 3am.
Experience the perfect Aurora Borealis viewing opportunity as well as the chance to be our personal guests at an off the grid, Alaska cabin. While waiting for the Northern Lights to dance you can enjoy a potluck with us. We'll have soup or chili, home made bread fresh out of the oven and drinks. You can bring something to share if you choose - spirits for celebrating, maybe a special treat from wherever you call home.
Conversation with new friends from around the world can involve dog mushing, interesting facts and stories about the Northern Lights, Alaska, or any subject you are interested in. Explore life here on the edge, living off the grid and close to nature. There are no public utilities in our neighborhood. Our home is simple and rustic but very comfortable. Large north facing windows allow you to view the aurora from the warmth of our cabin. Arctic winter clothing is available should you want to go outside for photographs and a full view of the sky while the Northern Lights are dancing. Bring your camera and tripod for a prime opportunity of photographing the Northern Lights.
There are always several friendly sled dogs in and out of the cabin. If you are missing your own furry friends back at home, ours will be happy to provide you with kisses and snuggles.

Aurora Potluck & Dog Sled Ride - $275
10:00pm - 3:00am
This is our Aurora Potluck tour with the opportunity for a night time dog sled ride. Bundle up and climb on board for a short fun run. The experience of starlight and moonlight reflecting off the snow while gliding down the silent trail is magical. Should the Aurora start early you will have a thrilling view of the sky from the dogsled.
Watch and/or participate in the evening kennel routine if you like. After the sled ride, the dogs are watered, fed and settled into their snug dog houses for the night. They never fail to give us a goodnight howl of thanks.
